One could describe KidActive as the mouse that roars. This small but highly engaging not-for-profit organization works to support every child’s access to healthy development, healthier communities and stronger connections to the natural environment.
The brand identity we developed for KidActive in 2013 is strongly influenced by the aesthetic of Executive Director Shawna Babcock.
The positive and negative spaces created by the graphic shapes and simple lines of the icon are based on a key KidActive theme: creating natural outdoor spaces. The clean lines of the wordmark provide both contrast and balance.
This logo is used on the official KidActive website as well as on various partner portals, fact sheets and publications, jackets and promo items.
