We both worked at Bonnechere Provincial Park as summer students during our teen years, and since them have collaborated with the Friends on various projects on both a professional and pro bono basis.
One of our proudest achievements is collaborating with the Friends to develop the FIT Trail Enhancement Guide. In 2012 this Footprints in Time pilot project was awarded an Ontario Merit Award from the Canadian Parks Council!
To celebrate the silver anniversary of the Friends of Bonnechere Parks — 25 years in 2018 — the time was right to wrap the organization in a new visual brand.
The stylized turtle icon combines visual aspects of both the natural and cultural heritage of the Bonnechere River watershed.
Each year we pro-bono design a line of swag products featuring custom FBP graphics that are sold at the Park store. Funds raised are reinvested into interpretive programming and protection initiatives based on the natural and cultural heritage of the Little Bonnechere River.
